PulsarGuard 2010 Solids Flow Detection:
The PulsarGuard acoustic Sensor series offers reliable solids flow detection, detecting structural acoustic signals resulting from material movement. This movement then causes impacts and frictional contact within the housing (for example, the inside of a pipe). The sensor instantly detects and reacts to changes in solids flow and warns of blockages and foreign object detection, high flow, low flow or no flow conditions.
The PulsarGuard range is contactless, so it is fixed to the outside of the structure, meaning minimal installation costs and zero downtime. The sensor's compact design means it can be installed in the tightest of locations or environments. PulsarGuard's high-frequency detection detects signals that are typically undetectable by the human ear, allowing the sensor to be used without interference in environments with high levels of machine or process noise.
