FlowPulse pulses ultrasound through various pipe walls (rigid plastic, stainless steel, cast iron and even corrugated pipes) at a 90-degree angle to the flow through a tangentially mounted high-output ceramic , the ultrasonic sound is then refracted at angles along the axis of the flow. and is then reflected in all directions over a wide range of frequencies from bubbles, particles and eddies – Therefore this product's ideal application is dirty/contaminated flows. The sensor provides significant cost savings unlike other flow meters as there is no need to enter the pipe, involve civil engineers or interrupt service . The digital platform used with FlowPulse offers robust performance in measurement repeatability as well as flexibility to adapt to application requirements, features such as damping and response time can easily be customized accordingly.

The sensor can operate as a standalone device requiring 18-28 V DC – If used as a standalone device, FlowPulse requires programming via supplied software and cable. Optionally, you can use this sensor with a dedicated wall-mounted device that provides alarm or control relays. Use this sensor for completely portable flow readings and for an instant flow indication. You can combine it with the FlowPulse HandHeld controller.
